        His self authored documentaries ‘Alias Ricky Gervais’ ‘Living with Boy George’ and most recently “We need to talk about Dad” have won him audience and critical acclaim., with the Irish Film & TV Awards hosting a tribute cinema screening and Q&A.

 

       His own self titled terrestrial TV chat show “The Brendan Courtney Show” was closely followed by his role as presenter and stylist on RTE1’s fashion flagship TV Show “OFF THE RAILS” for 7 seasons, where he and Sonya used their skills and experience to support women and men to meet their potential through personal style and confidence. The series spawned two No.1 books on style and fashion,  authored with his co-host. – (LOVE YOUR LOOK and YOUR BEST YOU)

         A successful TV format creator, he spearheaded the return of the BBC’s “The Clothes Show” which he produced and presented for 3 seasons.  He hosted The Clothes Show Live for 10 years. As creative director of Giant Film & TV he produced and presented countless TV series. In the last couple of years his TV work has been predominantly factual ent ertainment and documentaries have been driving advocacy and equality, accessible housing, agism and health.

Brendan Courtney’s Original Format "Keys to my Life” is currently broadcasting on RTE 1, Sundays at 8:30 pm. It is a cross between "This is your life" and "Through the key hole".

Brendan takes celebrities back through the halls of their past by visiting the homes that they have lived in.
